We’re thrilled to announce that ‘Welcome to Babel’ was shortlisted for the Digital History Prize in 2025.

Judges comments: This extraordinary documentary is biography and political history, a history of ideas and of visual culture, and of Australia and China and the relationship between them. It prompts viewers to think about how we make memories as individuals and how as groups and communities we collectively make meaning out of the past. It’s a stunning achievement.
